Susie Levin Rice RMC Property GroupSusie Levin Rice, President of RMC Leasing & Management, oversees all corporate and real estate operations.  Ms. Rice has been active in the commercial real estate business in Florida for 20 years.  Ms. Rice began her career as a Commercial Bank Examiner with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

In 1989, she joined her family’s commercial real estate firm, RMC Realty Companies, Ltd., as a Leasing Agent.  At the time, the Company was leasing and managing a few shopping centers throughout the Tampa Bay area.  Ms. Rice saw both the need and the challenge to grow the infrastructure of RMC to have it become the premier full service real estate company in Florida.

In 1996, Ms. Rice’s efforts were recognized when RMC was ranked #1 among Florida’s shopping center leasing and management companies in The Tampa Bay Business Journal.  Ms. Rice was also recognized in 2005 by the The Tampa Bay Business Journal as the Young Business Woman of the Year .

As an industry expert Ms. Rice has spoken and presented to organizations such as CREW, REIC, and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Ms. Rice holds a Bachelor of Business degree from George Washington University with a major in finance. She is a licensed real estate broker in Florida and an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

Ms. Rice is actively involved in the community, and has served on several boards, including the Jewish Family Services Resource Committee, the Corporation to Develop Communities, the Florida Institute for Fetal Diagnosis and Therapy, the Hillsborough County Board of Advisors, and St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation. She currently is a trustee at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, and sits on the board of Shoe Giver of Tampa.

Ms. Rice is also a Meals on Wheels Volunteer, has raised funds for the H. Lee Moffit Children’s Cancer Center, and a former co-chair of the Lion of Judah.
