RMC Launches New Tenant Representation Division

Tampa, Fl. — RMC Property Group, a full service real estate company that provides a multitude of real estate services for properties throughout Florida, today announced that they have added Tenant Representation to their scope of services. The addition comes as a natural extension of the firm’s nearly 40 years of experience as a leasing and management company, broker, owner and developer.

“In many ways, we have been practicing Tenant Representation for years, assisting our clients in backfilling empty boxes or securing new retail locations for tenants,” said Susie Rice, President of RMC Property Group. “The addition of a Tenant Representation division to RMC is an exciting opportunity to leverage our experience and extensive knowledge of the Florida retail market to bring great value to clients to both our retail clients.”

RMC’s Tenant Representation division will be built on two key services: securing new retail locations for clients and providing surplus property disposition services.

To launch the new division, RMC Property Group has brought on David Gibson, a real estate broker who has worked in commercial real estate for several years and specializes in Tenant Representation. During his career, David has worked directly with a variety of big-name retailers including IHOP, Texas Roadhouse Restaurant, Wireless Toys, Crazy Mike’s Mattress and For Eyes Optical to assist them as they expanded into Florida. David has also assisted in the lease of more than 500,000 square feet of retail property for national institutions such as Inland REIT, Weingarten, WC Capital, Atlantic Coast Developers, and UP Development.

“David’s expertise in Tenant Representation coupled with RMC’s long history in Florida commercial real estate means we are a broker that can not only lead a strategic site selection process, but can also deliver strong relationships with landlords, brokers and owners; provide access to a leasing and management portfolio of more than four million square feet; and offer unsurpassed knowledge of every major, secondary and tertiary market in Florida,” said Rice. “All of this means RMC has the ability to locate and secure the best possible sites on the best possible terms for our clients.”

RMC Property Group has been a premier developer for Walgreens since the mid-1990s, aiding them in their Florida expansion by identifying, contracting or leasing, and developing more than 140 free-standing store locations. The company is also a preferred developer for Publix Super Markets, Inc., having identified, secured, developed or redeveloped more than 25 locations in Florida since 2000.
